Public holiday rules in Poland
The 2027 nationwide dates are derived from the Public Holidays Act and a checked calculation of Western Easter, not from a separately published official 2027 calendar. Christmas Eve (24 December) has been a statutory holiday since 2025. Under Labour Code article 130(2), a statutory holiday on a day other than Sunday reduces working time; when it falls on a normally free Saturday, the employer may need to designate another day off within the settlement period. A Sunday holiday does not trigger that adjustment. The employer-set day is not one nationwide substitute date and is not added to this calendar, ICS or leave suggestions.
