Public holiday rules in France
National legal holidays and some regional holidays are listed. Good Friday applies only in Alsace-Moselle municipalities with a Protestant temple or mixed church; it is temporarily omitted from the public table, ICS and leave calculations because municipality coverage is not mapped. Overseas abolition days are not yet covered. A bridge day or substitute Monday is not automatic. Apart from the general 1 May rule and its exceptions, a legal holiday may still be worked under applicable rules.
