How to add a public holiday calendar to your phone
A simple explanation of ICS files and how to use them with common calendar applications.
An ICS file is a standard calendar format supported by Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook and many other applications.
Download the correct calendar
Open the country and year you need, select a region when relevant, and download the ICS file. Import it using your calendar application's add or import command.
Avoid duplicates
Importing the same file repeatedly may create duplicate events in some applications. If you need automatic updates, use a subscription link when your calendar provider supports one.
